Three Students Receive their Doctorates
Congratulations to graduate students David Nisson, John Crocker, and Jim Lin, who have earned their Ph.D.’s! Dr. Nisson did his thesis on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Studies of Topological Insulators and Materials with a Large Spin-‐Orbit Coupling, Dr. Crocker did his on Investigating Strongly Correlated Behavior In The High Tc Cuprate Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x And The Mixed Valence Compound CeSn3, and Dr. Lin did his on High Pressure Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Studies of the Ce-Based Heavy Fermion Superconductors.
